Joel Swanson, an Expert EOS Implementer, has been leading both for-profit and non-profit organizations through EOS since 2014, and leads the Non-Profit Collaborative Exchange within the EOS Implementer community. When it’s growing a business or furthering a cause, he brings clarity and focus to any mission. Joel studied Computer Science in his undergrad and has a Master’s Degree in Theology (he says of himself “I have a bad habit of getting degrees I don’t use.”). He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three kids, and spends his free time investing in his family.
EOS® was originally designed for for-profit businesses; its principles are equally transformative for nonprofits—organizations with unique challenges and incredible potential. This session features a panel of nonprofit leaders who have successfully implemented EOS in their organizations. They’ll share insights into the specific ways EOS can address common nonprofit hurdles, such as aligning diverse stakeholders, managing limited resources, and staying focused on mission-driven goals. Whether you’re a nonprofit leader exploring EOS or looking to refine its application, you’ll walk away with valuable lessons tailored to the nonprofit experience.
